In celebration of the Flute Society of Washington’s 50th year, the Board of Directors has established a fund to commission new music. The commissioning fund is sourced entirely by contributions from FSW members and other interested parties.
Recently commissioned works include Daniel Dorff’s “Fireworks” for Flute Orchestra, and Alexandra Molnar-Suhajda Baldwin’s “Moonbright Sea” for Flute Choir.
Anyone interested in donating may do so by filling out the donation form below. Contributions can be made anonymously, and in honor of or in memory of another. Contributions are gratefully accepted throughout the year. For questions, please visit the Contact page.
