Flute Choir Showcase
Mid-Atlantic Flute Convention

Application Opens: Fall 2026
The Flute Choir Showcase provides an opportunity for flute choirs of all levels to perform at the Mid-Atlantic Flute Convention. The showcase is held on both Saturday and Sunday during the convention weekend. The choir director must pre-register for the convention, which requires membership in The Flute Society of Washington. All choir members are encouraged to register for the convention to be able to take part in other activities. The showcase is free and open to the public.
General Information
- Submit a completed online application.
- Online application opens fall 2025.
- A flute choir is defined as six or more flutes.
- Membership in The Flute Society of Washington, Inc is NOT required to submit application.
- If a choir is scheduled to perform in the showcase held at the convention, the director or group representative is required to submit their convention registration no later than the date listed on the application.
- The showcase is held on both Saturday and Sunday of the convention weekend.
- Each choir is allotted 30 minutes for their performance. Total program time is 30 minutes. This 30 minute time slot includes 10 minutes of set up and break down and 20 minutes of music.
