Friday, February 14

Check in: 7:00–7:30 pm

Rehearsal: 7:30–9:30 pm, Piedmont

Saturday, February 15

Rehearsal: 2:45–3:45 pm, Piedmont

Concert: 4:00 pm, Piedmont

Come and join us by performing in the flute convention Festival Flute Choir. This ensemble will perform during the 2020 Flute Convention. Participation is open to everyone on space-available basis. Registration for the flute convention is required of all participants and must be completed by February 1, so that participants can receive their music ahead of time. Registration for the Festival Flute Choir is found on the convention preregistration form.

Attendance at all rehearsals is required. Rehearsals are Friday evening, Saturday with a Saturday performance.

The festival flute choir is open to all attendees without audition. Members MUST be able to attend both rehearsals and the performance to participate.
High School Flute Choir and Junior Flute Choir members should not register for this event event.

 

The 2020 Mid-Atlantic Flute Convention Festival Flute Choir will be conducted by Aaron Goldman.

Aaron Goldman was appointed principal flute of the National Symphony Orchestra in January 2013 and appears regularly as guest artist at universities and flute festivals around the country. Mr. Goldman received his Bachelor of Music degree from the Eastman School of Music as a student of Bonita Boyd.
