DCflutes
The ensemble, founded in 2010, is the official flute ensemble of the Flute Society of Washington. The choir is led by NSO principal flutist Aaron Goldman and renowned conductor and flutist Sandra Ragusa. The group is in the forefront of contemporary flute ensemble playing and is known for its diverse repertoire and imaginative programming. Experience a DCflutes concert of world premieres, great soloists, selections featuring extended flute technique and sounds, transcriptions of the symphonic literature, and arrangements of familiar favorites.
